BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com)  —  Suave, debonair and dashing French actor Louis Jourdan has died.

Jourdan, who was most known for starring in films like “Octopussy” and “Gigi,” was 93.

He died Saturday in his Beverly Hills home.

Whether he was the sweet-talking playboy or the obsessed villain,  Jourdan was always witty and urbane. Film audiences of the 50s and 60s made Jourdan the heir apparent to French stars like Charles Boyer and Maurice Chevalier. In the 70s, he appeared in a variety of TV movies and series.

Jourdan, born Louis Gendre, was nominated for a Golden Globe for “Gigi” playing Gaston Lachaiie, a bored playboy who falls for Leslie Caron.

Bobby Brown Asks Media To Stop Talking To Family Members

Black America Web

It appears Bobby Brownis having problems controlling certain family members from blabbing to the press about Bobbi Kristina Brown, so he’s asking the press to refrain talking to them.

The reality of relatives speaking to reporters without Brown’s permission about his comatose daughter’s condition is borne out in conflicting reports about her current status and future.

“At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family. The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised,” Brown’s legal counsel, Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, said in a statement to Extra.

“Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them,” the statement…

Democracy delayed in Nigeria

Friends of Missions International

Nigeria (MNN) — On one hand, Nigeria’s
government is vowing to take out all of Boko
Haram’s camps before the general elections
March 28.
One the other hand, Boko Haram is taunting the
government by continuing to raid, bomb, and
kidnap with near impunity. Their growing
brazenness has led to an aggressive expansion of
their so-called caliphate, an Islamic state ruled
under a caliph.
A case in point: Boko Haram stepped up cross-
border raids and suicide bombings in Niger this
week, sending waves of panicked residents into
Zinder, Niger’s second-biggest town.
According to the U.S. council on foreign relations,
roughly 10,000 people have died in the Islamic
uprising over the past year, compared to 2,000 in
the previous four years. Although Nigeria’s
government has issued tough rhetoric and
curfews, its struggle with the group is seen as
largely ineffective.
